North Carve Kite 2023 powerful, responsive, and controllable, ideal for riding up the wave front, tucking into a barrel, or boosting strapless tricks. Designed with a stable, low-aspect-ratio design for fast turns and excellent drift, the Carve has an extremely direct feel for both bar pressure and steering initiation. For 2023, we have brought the Carve back into its wave riding category. Refining the reins for a longer, more progressive ride means the kite is smoother and more responsive throughout the depower range. It is still responsive when going out on the sheet, all the way to the end. Improved overall balance also improves drift, so that when you surf, the kite glides down the line, waiting for your input at the bar.
More intuitive control, especially when the kite is not visible in a big bottom turn, cut back or barrel, means you can concentrate 100% on surfing. The Carve has a slightly reduced leading edge diameter and tapered profiles. This gives the kite a smoother power delivery, improves upwind range and helps you surf longer in the pocket. The kite will not pull you off the rail aggressively and you will have smoother landings when you make big jumps.
